A letter from Treston Group CEO, regarding Covid-19

31.3.2020

I hope you and your families are all well. The waves of the coronavirus have reached us all in one way or another and staying healthy is now the top priority.

At Treston, we have taken into use multiple measures to ensure that also our employees are safe and that we can continue to perform on high level servicing you now and in the future. To name a few, we have minimized travelling, work remotely when possible, and conduct customer meetings via digital platforms whenever possible, minimizing the risk of spreading the virus.

As I am writing this, there are no virus infections identified among our factory personnel, and the factories in Turku and Jyvaskyla Finland are both functioning at full speed.

Treston received a record-breaking amount of new orders in February and we strive to fulfill the needs. For some time now, Treston has also been building up our stock of our most popular products. We have a solid stock of components and there are no signs that this situation would change rapidly. A major part of our subcontractors are from Nordics and have at the moment no difficulties with their production.

We continue to closely monitor and follow the guidelines and instructions of local authorities and officials and update our own guidelines accordingly.

We sincerely hope that you, your loved ones or the business will not be affected too much by this storm.

Esa Siljander

CEO, Treston Group
